  • The NSW Government released its ten year Arts, Culture, and Creative Industries policy. Creative Communities, The policy ‘considers culture as a public good and the right to participate in arts, cultural and creative activities a fundamental human right.’

  • LitHub’s 139 Best Book Covers of 2023

  • ‘For Mindy Seu, Digital Archiving Isn’t Just a Job—It’s a Lifestyle’, via Vanity Fair. This article inspired me to read more about the Cyberfeminism Index ‘facilitated and gathered’ by Seu. Also enjoyed this Passerby magazine profile, ‘meet mindy seu’.

  • Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs presenter, on the Modern House’s Homing In podcast with host, Matt Gibberd.

  • Lovely conversation between Ralph Fiennes and Ruthie Rogers on the Ruthie's Table 4 podcast. Fiennes reading the recipe for River Cafe’s Chocolate Nemesis cake was a highlight.

  • Only watchable in Australia, I think, but the first episode of Project Wild, featuring travels in Cambodia, is worth a look. Dr Ann Jones is an excellent host.

  • An interesting demonstration of how Google’s NotebookLM might work.. Journalist x Large Language Models | Google Lab Sessions, with journalist Cleo Abram and author Steven Johnson

  • Pleased to hear that the Analysis & Policy Observatory (APO) has found new home, thanks to a partnership with the Susan McKinnon Foundation.
